Introducing batch rendering
Rendering one shot at a time is fine for a test. It is no way to make an episode. Batch rendering lets you queue a whole sequence and keep working while it runs.
The most common request we heard this spring was simple: stop making me babysit the render. So we built batch rendering.
Queue the whole episode
Select a range of shots, or an entire episode, and send them to the queue in one action. Torax renders them in order, tracks what completed and what failed, and lets you keep directing the next scene while it works.
- Live progress and per-shot status.
- Automatic retries on transient failures.
- Notifications when a batch finishes.
A full episode that used to mean an afternoon of clicking now runs while you write the next one.
Batch rendering is rolling out to all paid plans this week. Open any project, select your shots, and hit Render all.
